Contact RTA (Registered Transfer Agent) The client needs to get in touch with the Registered Transfer Agent.
Here's how to go about it:
- Visit nseindia.com or bseindia.com. Go to the official websites of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) or Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
- Search for the company's name, Look for the name of the company whose shares you inherited.
- Click on Corporate Information or Company Information Scroll down to get the RTA details.
- Send in a request to inform you the process for transmitting the shares and they will revert back to you with the details.
