What is the validity of the CDSL authorisation?
How long is the CDSL authorization valid?
CDSL TPIN and OTP authorizations are valid for a single day.
Can I use the same TPIN throughout the day?
Yes, clients can use the same TPIN to authorize their holdings for trade execution till they change the TPIN
Do I need to provide a new authorization every day if I plan to sell my holdings?
Yes, if you plan to sell your holdings, a new authorization must be provided every trading day.
What happens if I make authorizations after market hours?
Each day a separate E-DIS authorization by using CDSL TPIN and OTP needs to be made after 8.00 AM for enabling CNC sell transaction for non-POA / non-DDPI holdings.

The above process applies only to those clients who have not opted for POA or DDPI authorization.
