What does CNC, MIS and Normal mean?

  • What are the product types available on CubePlus for placing orders? CubePlus offers three product types for placing orders Cash and Carry (CNC) or Delivery, Margin Intraday Square Off (MIS) or Intraday MIS, and Normal (NRML).

What are the different order types available on CubePlus and how are they executed?

  • What is Cash and Carry (CNC) or Delivery on CubePlus? Cash and Carry (CNC) or Delivery on CubePlus is designed for delivery-based trading in equity. This product type allows individuals the following
    1. To buy stocks for delivery and hold them for any desired duration. While using CNC, there is no provision for leverage, and positions won't be automatically squared off.
    2. To Sell Stocks which is available in their holdings for delivery unless bought back on the same day. Sell orders without corresponding holdings is not allowed in this product type.

How to convert MIS to CNC/Normal and vice versa?

  • How does Margin Intraday Square Off (MIS) work on CubePlus? Margin Intraday Square Off (MIS) on CubePlus provides intraday leverage (only in cash markets) and is specifically designated for trading in Equity, Equity F&O, Commodity F & O, and Currency F & O. It's an ideal choice for traders looking to capitalize on intraday market movements. Clients placing orders in MIS need to be aware that any position remaining open will be auto squared off by our RMS team 15 minutes before close of markets. Under this product type clients can place sell orders also without actually having stocks in thier holdings and square up the same before 15 min to close of markets.

What are the auto square-off timings for open intraday positions?

  • What is Normal (NRML) used for on CubePlus? Normal (NRML) on CubePlus is employed for overnight trading of futures and options. Traders can carry forward their positions until expiry in the derivatives market. This is ideal for clients who are positional traders for periods longer than intraday as auto square off is not initiated under this product.

What will happen to my intraday (MIS/CO) position in case the stock circuit limits are hit?
