Why do shares bought for delivery appear under positions on the same day?
When you buy shares using the CNC (Cash and Carry) product type for delivery, you'll see them in the Positions tab on the same day of purchase. However, they will be listed under the Holdings tab from T+1 (trade day +1). This feature enables traders to engage in intraday trading and easily monitor their profits and losses associated with the purchased stocks.
