Why has the value of historical candles on the chart changed after a refresh or opening a new chart?
- Live Candles - When you open a chart, live candles are generated on your computer or mobile device. These candles represent the current market activity, and the price data for these live candles comes directly from Tradejini.
- Historical Candles - Historical candles are pre-existing ones that Tradejini stores on its servers. These candles are created using market data received from exchanges.
- Data Differences - The data used to form candles on your device might be a subset of the actual data received by Tradejini. Variations in internet speed and uptime can lead to differences between the live candles on your device and the historical candles saved at Tradejini’s end.
- Refreshing or Opening a New Chart - When you refresh the chart or open a new one, Tradejini streams the historical candles. This replaces the previously plotted live candles from the time the chart was first opened. As a result, minor differences may appear in how the chart looks after refreshing or reopening it.
Remember that these differences are usually small and shouldn’t significantly impact your analysis.
