To apply for a rights issue, you can conveniently use Net Banking of your Banker OR send filled up the form duly filled and signed, which is available on the Registrar's website and in the email received from the registrar, to your banker and get the amount blocked in the form of ASBA to the company.  Upon finalization of the rights issue the balance of the Blocked amount will be released which is in excess to the required allotment amount.
