IPO subscription data refers to the number of shares that investors bid for during the IPO subscription period. Each exchange provides live IPO subscription status on their website for the bids received by them, indicating the demand for the IPO. It is tracked separately for each investor category (Institutional, Non-Institutional, Retail, etc.) and is available in real-time (fixed time intervals) on the stock exchanges' websites.

To get a real time update you need to add up both NSE & BSE Bid details as the cumulative Bid data is updated only periodically like every 15/30 min.
