Why is the order in near month expiry future commodity contracts & Commodity Option contracts on Expiry Day getting rejected?

At Tradejini, we prioritize the safety and effective risk management of our clients. As part of our robust system, we have a policy that restricts clients from initiating new trades on the day of expiry. While clients can sell their existing positions, the prohibition on opening new positions is in place due to the physical settlement process.

It's important to note that this limitation applies not only to commodity options but also on Stock Options. However, clients are free to initiate positions on Index options such as Nifty, Bank Nifty, Midcap, Sensex, and finnifty, as they are are cash settled and not subject to these restrictions.
