What is market protection and how can it be set in CubePlus?
In illiquid symbols any market order may execute at extreme levels within the permissible range. To avoid such unfavourable trades market protection feature exists.
For example, if you place a buy market order when the last traded price is ₹100, a 2% protection is applied to your order, and your order is placed as a limit order of ₹102. So, your order won't get executed above ₹102 in any case.
Navigate to settings and edit the "Market Protection %" as required.
In CubePlus web the flow is -User ID-Settings
In CubePlus mobile the flow is -User ID- Account- Settings- Order Preference
