Can exiting one leg of a hedged position lead to a peak margin shortfall?

Tradejini's Risk Management System (RMS) prioritizes safety, and therefore, it does not permit the exit of individual hedged legs which lead to increase in Margin requirement. If a client wishes to make changes, they have two options either exit the entire position or, if needed, add a new hedge leg first and then proceed to exit the previous hedge leg.
