Can an arbitrage trade be carried out between two exchanges?
Yes, arbitrage trading can be conducted between two exchanges on CubePlus platform.
Exchanges have introduced interoperability of trades executed on different exchanges in the cash segment - which means any position taken on one exchange can be sold on another exchange without recieving or delivering shares and will be treated as intraday trade. All the charges also will be calculated for intraday trades only.
During earlier days when such interoperability was not there positions on different exchanges needed to be settled separately with no netting off - Due to this there was significant arbitrage oppurtunities which have reduced significantly now .
