How can I redeem or sell mutual funds using CDSL TPIN on CubePlus web?

If you are a Non-DDPI/POA client, you must complete an additional step using your CDSL TPIN to authorize the sale or redemption of mutual fund units from your demat account. This is done through E-DIS (Electronic Delivery Instruction Slip) authorization.

What is a CDSL TPIN?

The CDSL TPIN is a 6-digit PIN issued by CDSL to authorize the debit of securities from your demat account. It is:

a. Sent to your registered mobile number and email from [edis@cdslindia.com](mailto:edis@cdslindia.com)
b. Also accessible or re-generable via: [https://edis.cdslindia.com/home/generatepin](https://edis.cdslindia.com/home/generatepin)

Steps to Use CDSL TPIN for Redeeming Mutual Funds on CubePlus Web

1. Go to the Holdings Section - Hover over the mutual fund you wish to redeem.

2. Click on “Redeem” - This option is available in the “More” menu beside the fund details.

3. Enter the Number of Units - Specify the quantity of units you want to redeem and click Redeem.

4. E-DIS Authorization Window Opens - If you haven’t submitted a DDPI or POA, an authorization page appears with your pre-filled BO ID.

5. Select Holdings - If you want to authorize only specific holdings (not all), click "Select Holdings for Authorization".

6. Enter Your TPIN - Click "Verify using TPIN/Authorize" and input your valid CDSL TPIN. If you do not have it or have forgotten it, click "Get TPIN" to receive a fresh one via SMS and email.

7. OTP Verification - After entering your TPIN, an OTP will be sent to your registered contact details. Enter the OTP and click "Verify".

8. Confirmation - Once you see the message "Success" under Authorization Status, your redemption is successfully authorized.

9. Place the Redemption Order - You can now complete the redemption order confidently.

Tip:
Ensure your mobile number and email ID are updated in your demat account to receive the TPIN and OTP without delay.
