Why is the buy average for some shares shown as "0" and an pop up to "enter buy rate for xx shares" ?

"Enter buy rate for xx shares" will appear when Tradejini does not have the details of buy trade for the same.

In case Shares are not purchased at Tradejini and recieved in the demat account as a transfer from any other account the price of such shares are not shown as Tradejini is not aware of the same.  The investor is provided an option to enter the price manually for such shares.

In case of allotments in Public and rights issues the price needs to be entered by the Clients

In most cases of corporate actions data for which is available Tradejini will try to provide the price across all clients.  In certain cases of Corporate Action which are not clear as to ratio or other complex actions Tradejini will allow the client to enter the price manually for such shares.

When companies issues bonus shares the same will be treated as bought at "0" price.
