What are the documents required to open a partnership account?

In case of a partnership firm, the Trading account is opened in the name of the Firm and the Demat account is opened in form of a Joint account in the names of Partners (max 3) with the PAN number of the firm for all the partners.

Documents required to open partnership account at Tradejini are as follows:

  1. PAN card of Partnership Firm
  2. PAN card of all Partners or Authorised Signatories
  3. Address proof of Partnership Firm (Bank statement with latest transaction or GST registration Certificate)
  4. Address proof of all Partners or Authorised Signatories
  5. Cancelled cheque of Partnership Firm bank account
  6. Partnership Deed
  7. Copy of balance sheet for the last 3 financial years along with ITR
  8. Authorised signatory list with specimen signature (on letterhead)
  9. Photographs of each Partner
  10. List of Partners
  11. FATCA
  12. 6 months Bank Statement or if 6 months bank statement is not available, provide Networth Certificate in case of newly incorporated Partnership Firm
  13. Details of Profit & Loss Sharing Pattern
  14. PARTNERSHIP AUTHORISED SIGNATORY FORMAT

Note:
All the copies should be attested by 2 Persons with ‘FOR’ seal.
Kindly affix ‘FOR’ seal on the entire client signature on Account Opening Form (Form should be signed by 2 partners).
