What are the documents required to open an Association of Persons (AOP) account?
CHECKLIST FOR Association of Persons (AOP) ACCOUNT OPENING:
- PAN card of AOP Firm
- PAN card of all Persons or Authorised Signatories
- Address proof of AOP (Bank statement with latest transaction)
- Address proof of all Persons or Authorised Signatories
- Cancelled cheque of AOP bank account
- AOP Bye Laws
- Copy of balance sheet for the last 2 financial years along with ITR
- Authorised signatory list with specimen signature (on letter head)
- 2 photographs of each Person
- List of Persons
- FATCA
- 6 months Bank Statement or, if not available, Networth Certificate in case of newly incorporated AOP
- AOP board resolution
Note:
All the copies should be attested by 2 Persons with ‘FOR’ seal.
Kindly affix ‘FOR’ seal on the entire client signature on Account Opening Form (Form should be signed by 2 Persons).
