What is the process to dematerialise mutual fund units into demat format?

Dematerialisation of mutual fund units, also known as destatementization, is the process of converting your mutual fund holdings from physical or Statement of Account (SOA) mode into demat mode, allowing you to hold them electronically in your demat account linked with CubePlus.

This process enables consolidated tracking, easier redemption, and smooth portfolio management through a single platform.

Steps to Destatementize Mutual Funds

1. Stop Active Instructions - Before initiating the request, make sure to cancel any ongoing SIP or STP associated with the mutual fund scheme.

2. Fill Out the Destatementization Request Form (DRF)
a. Fill the DRF accurately for each ISIN (scheme) separately.
b. Ensure all details such as Folio Number, ISIN, and Fund Name are clearly updated.

3. Attach Supporting Documents
a. Include the latest physical mutual fund statement for the scheme.
b. The statement must be self-attested by the account holder.

4. Submit the Documents - Send the completed DRF (1 original + 2 copies) along with the self-attested statement to the following address:
Tradejini Financial Services Pvt. Ltd.
Vasavi Square, 2nd Floor,
No.75/757, 10th Main Road, 4th Block,
Jayanagar, Bangalore – 560011

5. Processing Timeline
a. Tradejini will submit your documents to the Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA) of the respective mutual fund within 7 working days.
b. The RTA may take up to 30 working days to process the request.
c. Once processed, the units will appear in the Holdings tab of your CubePlus account.

Summary
To dematerialise your mutual fund units held in physical mode, submit the DRF with required documents to Tradejini. After verification and RTA processing, your units will be available in demat format on CubePlus for seamless management.
