Why are my mutual fund investments displayed under stock holdings on CubePlus?
Close-ended mutual funds that are listed and traded on stock exchanges appear under the Stock Holdings section on CubePlus. This is because, once listed, these mutual funds behave like shares and are held in your demat account similar to stocks.
If the close-ended mutual fund is not listed on the exchange, it will not appear under stock holdings, but can be viewed in the Mutual Fund section under the Holdings tab on CubePlus.
Regardless of listing status, all mutual fund units—whether open-ended or close-ended—are reflected in the DP Holdings section of your back office. This structure helps differentiate between exchange-traded funds and traditional mutual fund holdings while maintaining visibility across all platforms.
