How do I shift my pledged stocks from Equity to the Commodity segment for MCX trading?
To shift already pledged stocks from Equity to the Commodity segment, you must first unpledge them under 'Equity' and then re-pledge under 'COM' from Portfolio > Margin Pledge section in the back office. Select the correct segment in the dropdown, complete the CDSL OTP authorization, and ensure the pledge is confirmed. Only then will the margin benefit reflect under the correct segment for MCX trading.
