What does cut-off price mean?

Option of Cut-off price is available for Retail Bidders only and by opting for Cut-off price the investor can relax without worrying about the price at which the shares will be allotted, in case he is confident to accept the shares at any price determined by the Issuer.

The price at which the shares are finally issued to investors in an IPO is also known as the cut-off price. When you select this cut-off price option while applying for any IPO it is as good as you are applying at the highest price and the amount blocked will be the higher end of the price band published by the Company.
