Why is it important to select a mandate while placing a SIP order?
In the SIP Order Pad, there is a “Mandate selected” button located just above the “Start SIP” button. This allows you to choose the specific mandate you want to use for your current SIP investment. By default, the most recently created mandate is pre-selected, but you have the option to change it before proceeding.
Selecting a mandate is essential because it links the SIP to an authorised payment method. This ensures that monthly SIP instalments are automatically debited from your chosen bank account without requiring manual intervention. Proper linkage guarantees smooth and uninterrupted SIP execution for future instalments.
